There is no doubt that the ongoing development of “Prison Break” will bring back the popular characters Michael Scofield and Lincoln Burrows played by Wentworth Miller and Dominic Purcell, respectively between 2005 and 2009. According to KpopStarz, the decision makers at Fox, Gary Newman and Dana Walden, recently released a statement in which they confirmed the return of Miller and Purcell in the highly-anticipated season 5. Read below to get a scoop of it.
The US broadcaster FOX’s one of the most super hits action-thriller television series “Prison Break” is said to have been similar to “24: Live Another Day,” which will only have around a dozen episodes with a close-end storyline.
“The brothers will be back. Some of the iconic characters from that show will be back. It definitely will address some questions that were set up at the end of the series and for a new audience… It’ll start after where we left the Scofields in the final season,” Walden said.
While addressing the final episode of “Prison Break’s” previous season, Walden said that the show is going to be made in such a way that it would not “ignore the events,” rather it would show a twist for bringing the characters back. According to Walden, there would be a logical and trustworthy explanation to the viewers why the “characters are still alive” and “moving around the world.”
As reported by Melty, the fans of “Prison Break” will be clamoring if Scofield’s wife Sara Tancredi (played by “The Walking Dead” actress, Sarah Wayne Callies) comes back. The show will become more encouraging if junior Scofield is brought into notice as Tancredi was pregnant when the show ended. However, Callies revealed her interest for reprising her role in “Prison Break” but still we are not confirmed about her returning.
The premiering of the show is still yet to be announced.
