It sounds like the the powers that be behind The Flash and Arrow are creating their own Justice League.
EW has confirmed that The CW and Warner Bros. are developing a potential spin-off that would include various secondary Flash and Arrow heroes and villains, including Ray Palmer/The Atom (Brandon Routh), Leonard Snart/Captain Cold (Wentworth Miller) and Martin Stein/Firestorm (Victor Garber). According to Deadline.com, which first reported the news, the project would also include three major DC Comics character that have never been on TV before.
Arrow alum Caity Lotz would also appear on the potential new series, though it’s unclear whether she’ll be playing a new role since her character died earlier this season.
One would also be remiss not to point out that Garber’s character is only one half of Firestorm, so it would seem likely that Robbie Amell, who portrays the other half, Ronnie Raymond, might also play a role, though there’s no official word.
The project hails from Arrow and Flash executive producers Andrew Kreisberg and Greg Berlanti, as well as Arrow boss Marc Guggenheim and Sarah Schechter, who is working with Kreisberg, Berlanti and Ali Adler on Supergirl.
The new super drama, which is not part of the current pilot season, was first mentioned by CW president Mark Pedowitz at the Television Critics Association’s semi-annual press tour in January.
